Definitely Maybe, but later

A car salesman knows the potential customer must not be allowed leave the lot without buying, as less than 5 percent of the people who intend to come back will end up buying from them. The numbers don't lie, and so the dreaded high-pressure sales efforts dominate the high ticket markets.

When I hear about some new thing that has some buzz and is a bit expensive... it can take a while before I get to a store to check it out. If I look... I want to be sold. But if, after a good look, if I'm not sure & I walk away... the odds are I'll wait for the next cycle, something newer and cheaper.

I read that most undecided voters who saw the debates are still undecided. This tells me that the majority of independents may want to be sold on the New Change Thing... but they were not sold... and probably will not be sold. Not even with the high pressure sales job delivered daily from the main stream media.
