Age Appropriate

I saw O’Reilly say McCain’s sex-ed for Kindergartners was a lie. Old Bill is a machine that generates a lot of random heat. I guess I’ll take his randomness over the reliability of Gibson & his friends. But…

Anyone who says Obama wanted to teach explicit sex-ed is lying. The bill wanted to teach age appropriate sex-ed and there was an opt-out clause that parents could chose. These are important details.

Nevertheless, even with these factors, I think teaching age-appropriate sex-ed to Kindergartners is a terrible idea. Further, I do not see anything close to a lie in McCain’s ad.

Was McCain responsible to explain the missing caveats in his 30 second ad? That is a good question. Should the media “review” the ads as if they were movies & supply the missing context? Well, it would be a great service if they could do it fairly. Note that O'Reilly failed to EXPLAIN what he did not like about the ad -- he just called it "a lie." Thanks Bill.

My faith in getting fairness from the media is at about the same level that I trust schools to figure out what age-appropriate sex-ed means for Kindergartners.
