Oops, Obama ad mocks McCain's inability to send e-mail. Trouble is, he can't due to tortured fingers... "McCain gets emotional at the mention of military families needing food stamps or veterans lacking health care. The outrage comes from inside: McCain's severe war injuries prevent him from combing his hair, typing on a keyboard, or tying his shoes. ... McCain says he is learning how to go online and "I am becoming computer literate to the point where I can get the information that I need." ...

WASHINGTON - Democrat Barack Obama's campaign came under fire from conservative bloggers yesterday for a new political ad criticizing his 72-year-old opponent, John McCain, for not using computers. ... Calls to the Obama campaign weren't returned yesterday. ...
"I read my e-mails, but I don't write any," McCain said. "I'm a Neanderthal - I don't even type. I do have rudimentary capabilities to call up some websites, like the New York Times online, that sort of stuff. No laptop. No PalmPilot. I prefer my schedule on notecards, which I keep in my jacket pocket."
The new Obama ad, part of a more aggressive strategy that began Friday to portray McCain as representing old ideas, says of the GOP candidate: "He admits he still doesn't know how to use a computer, can't send an e-mail ...

“Obama has inadvertantly insulted old people and handicapped people who don’t or can’t use the computer. Oh, and in a classic rubber-glue situation, his attempt to belittle McCain’s being out of touch on technology backfires because, as half the blogosphere has pointed out, he’s demonstrated that he’s managed to hire a huge staff, none of whom apparently know how to use the Google.”
(my words below)
The point here is NOT that Obama is mean. The point is this was CLUMSY and STUPID. Obama & McCain serve in the same Senate, and there is a good chance Obama KNEW of McCains limitations. Did Obama not realize this would backfire, or is he is just not supervising the ads?
Senator Obama claims his big, successful campaign IS his executive experience that exists nowhere else on his resume. Then he picks Biden over Hillary and watches the Palin tidal wave.
These are not just EXAMPLES of Obama as an executive -- they make up a MAJORITY of the TOTALITY of the executive portion of Senator Obama's resume.
This is not presidential material.
